"'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"
Born and raised in Delhi, India, I come from a family where everyone believed in expressing themselves and communicate to feel liberated. Opinions, perspectives, and a different vision were never a problem but rather something interesting to discuss and debate about.
As I was growing up, I decided to acknowledge this manner as a way of life and a mantra for contentment and happiness. Little did I know, I could turn it into a full-time profession later. With time, I found myself fascinated by every book I read or the advertisements I saw as I would try to decipher the meaning and concept behind it. It made me retrospect about the purpose of words, concept, and the presentation together as a union through which brands communicate to their audience. I recognized that I had an ardent desire to explore the world of wordplay which motivated me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, leading to a Master of Arts in English Literature.
While my focus has always been on words, I also inspected the world of social and digital media marketing in order to gain insights and comprehend the relation between images and words in the online world through full-time job roles. After working in several marketing agencies, I've had the opportunity to learn a bit of everything. Improvising on the spot has now become my forte, I'd say. Marketing campaigns, creative copies, strategies, and website content while was always under my KRA, yet I have had the opportunity to be a stylist for many photoshoots and video shoots which makes me fall more in love with the concept of branding.
My creativity has not been limited to marketing but also, I’ve experimented with words as a poet. My two poems are a part of an anthology called The Rhythmic Quills published by Hanuel Publications and two other poems have been published in Mirakee - World's Largest Anthology by Paper Publication.
I confine in words. I believe in talking. I support writing. I respect listening. I trust in communication as it is the binding force of society, because if it wasn’t for it, how else will we be able to understand each other and develop a kind society?
From the heart of India, Delhi to the emerald city of the US, Seattle
To begin the next chapter of my life, I have moved from India to the US and started my second master’s in Communication and Digital Media at the prestigious University of Washington, Seattle. I truly believe this will help me unravel the mysteries I wish to decipher for my professional success and take me closer to the goal of being a creative and content (literally and metaphorically) person.
